During the course of the rennovation works to a Grade 1 Listed Manor House in the Cotswold a moat was discovered. The moat also included the remnants of a bastion and drawbridge. 

Cotswold Archeology excavated the moat over several phases. The moat was concentrated along the North elevation of the property and did not surround the house.
